Minimising risk from the Covid 19. Coronavirus
Responsibilities of the stallholders trading at  Long Ashton Village market. Each stallholder who attends must sign to confirm they've read the following:

  1. Reading and following the Governments latest guidance for food businesses. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-for-food-businessesand/or selling goods at outdoor and indoor shops and markets;https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/shops-and-branches
  2. Send the market organisers (before attending the market) a copy of their current stall insurance documents, and a list precautions that they will carry out to minimise the risks to themselves and their customers from the Covid 19 coronavirus 
  3. Increase the frequency of hand sanitising and surface cleaning whilst at the market, and to limit contact where possible.
  4. Hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance to the market for all to use.
  5. We recommend traders and customers wear face coverings if entering a building, i.e. a mask or visor
  6. All food must be served behind a perspex sneeze guard or is covered or pre-packaged.
  7. No tasters should be offered or touching of food allowed.
  8. Any street food must be sold as takeaway only.  
  9. We encourage traders to offer contactless payment as an option however card machines should be cleaned regularly with anti-bacterial wipes/spray. 
  10. Stallholders should not attend the Long Ashton Village market if they are feeling unwell, have a high temperature, a continuous cough, or a loss to your sense of taste or smell.
  11. We recommend taking a Lateral Flow test before attending any event.
