Minimising risk from the Covid 19 Coronavirus

Long Ashton Village market responsibilities
(Guidance  for the market to be held on Saturday 6th November 2021)
  1. Customers will be encouraged to use hand-sanitiser which will be made available by the market organisers on entry to the market trading area 
  2. Our stall tables will be sanitised with anti-viral disinfectant before use. 
  3. Stall holders are advised to not attend if feeling unwell.
  4. We recommend that all customers and stallholders still wear face masks.
  5. All street food to be sold as takeaway only.
  6. No tasters to be allowed.
  7. All food products will be wrapped, covered, or served behind a sneeze guide.
  8. Will follow the guidance provided by the LACA Community centre to minimise risk from Covid 19 whilst organising and holding the market
  9. Customers accompanied by children will be reminded they are responsible for supervising them at all times. 
  10. We will provide written or spoken communication of the latest guidelines to all volunteers who help set up and run the market. These will also be published on the village market website for the public to read.
  11. Will write a risk assessment detailing what measures will be put in place to minimise the risk from Covid 19.
