A great first market this morning. Thanks to everyone who came to make it possible; customers, stallholders, the cafe and volunteers.

A really great turn out. Lots of smiley faces and a lot of lovely food, plants, flowers, crafts and gifts.

We got lots of feedback so will post some of that here soon plus the pictures.

Meanwhile tell us what you thought? Suggestions / comments always welcome.

Cheers, Simon

Great market. Really enjoyed it - looked like it was a great success. Only thing missing was a fruit and vegetable stall - couple of others were commenting on that too. Would be great for next time. Keep up the good work!

From a stallholder's point of view the market was a huge success - it was a fantastic turnout and it was great to see so many people milling about and catching up. We saw many familiar faces from the village and got to meet some new ones - I met my neighbour for the first time (who I've lived opposite for three years!) and as a result of today have been invited to view and photograph both her and another neighbour's gardens. I hope everyone felt that it was a great event for the village - it really got everyone together.

A big thank you from Sarah and myself to everyone involved in setting up this market,to all those people who came along yesterday, and especially to those who browsed or bought something from our jewellery stall. It was a lovely morning full of very friendly people.

We are already looking forward to July's event.

Agree with the comment that it would be good to have a fruit and veg stall. Very good 1st event and look forward to seeing more stalls as the market becomes established. Well done and thanks to all concerned.

Spend some time alone. It gives peace, solitude, and silence
